I agree Lyn but the 'Where to next?' and 'Secret of Michael's success?' threads appear every week sometimes almost daily. As Mary did, I read every thread when I first joined, to get a feel for things. I'm sorry if I'm appearing a little bombastic, I don't want to stir up the hornets nest as I did when asking for Michael's home address. Everyone has a right to ask what they want to and long may that spirit continue.

Lets not kill the enthusiasm guys but please exercise a little restraint too.

:(... I just read some of the old things and found that I was guilty of this horrible act! SORRY! I didnt mean to ask the same questions... but I'm desperate to learn all i can about MP, he's the best!

Don't worry SingDino, I've just replied to 2 questions today with the same answer!! It was in 'The Series' section about the release of future DVD's. They were originated on the same day aswell. I do enjoy reading the enthusiasm of the posts though and seeing so many like minded people.

I think the frustrating thing is that most of these posts will only get a handful of replies and will push all the other posts down the board quicker. I like to read posts I've commented on and having not logged in since Tuesday I was surprised to find those posts half way down the board. Blimey if you have a week away your posts will be off the page!!

I think restraint should be exercised for this reason, it will cut the number of posts and beef up the number of responses each post gets, creating more of a conversation with each one.

The sad thing is, not everyone will even read this thread and we will probably always be in this position.

Try to put the old posts back to the top by replying to them - i just try to go through the older posts and add something to them to bring them back into circulation, that can be fun too, so we could set aside one visit to the chatterbox to look though the older posts and find something to reply to, to bring it back up (that sounded awful)this way new people can read the thread before joining in, especialy those who have been in from teh start - i must go right back to the beginning sometime to read and reply to something really old
- say the first post ever put on the chaterbox!

see you later just going to visit the archives in the vault, mustn't forget to take a torch!

Nice thought Rich. :-)

Lyn - how was your trip to the archives? I may just do that as well, but not today. I have not posted any messages for a few days, so it is taking me longer than usual to go through them. Perhaps I can choose one, one day a week or a fortnight to pick a thread from the archives. Sounds like fun. Were there any large spiders in there?

no spiders - but I did find Michael lurking there and brought him out in the open! it was good fun and very interesting.

casper the ghost said hello and could someone else visit him please!

Rich - I think you mean recycle!
