End of the xmas holidays...any resolutions?

Just a quick note for anyone who returns back to school/ college/ work today. I'm back at college and this site is the only thing keeping me awake! It's too early (9:04 here) for me after weeks of staying in bed for ages. So for anyone else out there who feels tired, cheesed off and depressed all I can say is I feel your frustration! Chin up! *hug*
...and happy new year! Who has a new year resolution?? |

AND THE KEYS!!
I had at least one doctor's appointment every week in 2004. I'm putting an end to that crap right now! |

Good luck Lyn! Just make sure your glasses aren't on your head/ on a necklace-thing around your neck/ on your nose when looking for them. My mum does this a lot. Very funny, but a bit silly.
Anyway, new years resolution, hmmmmmmmmmm, i porbably should say "I wont eat chocolate for a whole year", but thats never gonna happen!!
*hug* sky; hope college wasn't too bad |

..if you have had glasses since you were 9 , you always have them on your nose except bedtime when you have the bedside dresser and the distance to them is memorized......otherwise the whole world has a tendancy to disappear and probably at the wrong time...that is the problem of being nearsighted..no resolutions except to remember the distance from the bed to the dresser.......... |

Thanks Ello! It was fine, we have some good stuff to do but I just can't get used to being up so early again! *yawn*
And looking for your glasses while still wearing them is nothing...doing some late night homework I was once looking for the pen that was in my hand! |

In this year of our Lord 2005, I propose a new motion. A new resolution that erm....it is the inalienable right of every man (or woman)..or woman....for himself (or herself) to........erm mmmm....i've forgotten what i was going to write now.
Godfather : "Now we can sit around and propose new years resolution. But it's getting us nowhere."
Sky : "That's right. We could sit around for ever talking about new years resolutions. But it's actions that count in this world. Not words. Action".
Ello : "Absolutely. I totally agree,Sky. This is a complete waste of time and it's getting us nowhere. So let's stop blabbing on about it and do something".
Helen : "Get on with it!!!"
Godfather : "....Little ego trip there for the feminists"

Suppose you agree that he can't actually make a resolution, which is nobody's fault, not even the Romans, but that he can have the RIGHT to make one...
I was gonna make one: not to get so stressed. I broke it twice today. Oh well...it's not my fault!! Anyone who has ever worked on a Mac will get the idea...stupid computer...won't do as its told...grrrr......gggggggrrrrrrrrrr......... |
