Sorry, double posted.

As expected, he got along great with Conan and was very energetic. Yes, his story about milking a yak was definately the highlight.

DAGNAMMIT that's a good looking 62-yr-old! It's unbearable. Couldn't he just get a little paunchy, or SOMEthing...

IF ANYONE IN THE U.S. MISSED IT, IT WILL BE REPEATED WED. EVENING ON CNBC AT 7:00 pm eastern.

It may also show up on "NBC All Night" Wed. night into Thurs. morning or Thurs. night into Fri. morning.

When you're waiting for a specific guest, you realize that the layout of these late-night shows is dreadful. There is probably no more than 40 min. of programming in the 60 min. slot. They wasted a segment between the 2nd and 3rd dreadfully long commercial breaks with a lame skit when they could have been talking to guest #2 (that would be MP in this case!) and then he got what seemed like 2 1/2 mins.

Not sour grapes. This is every night on Letterman, Leno and Conan.

I agree. I was getting annoyed at all the commercial breaks. It's unbearable when all you want to see is the second guest. What is REALLY awful is if they run out of time for the second or third guest, and so you wait all the time and don't even get to see it.

BTW is it just me or has Conan gone downhill (his show, I mean). I used to think it was funny it has become so not funny. What makes it so awful is that he has to comment on the audience reaction to every joke for at least two minutes. Anyway, just an observation. I sat through it for one reason: Michael!

Completely in agreement with previous post, he is so good looking it's amazing. :)

Polly, I agree completely with you about Conan O'Brian. I guess he's got a pretty good audience though, since he's been around so long. But, I hardly ever get a chance to see anything in that time slot. I've always been a big David Letterman fan, which is usually the last I watch at night.
