Re: Michael on Jonathan Ross (Friday 24th) by PhoneticSilence on 25 June 2005 6:33am

Yeah, it was good. My only gripe was they showed a clip of the elephants playing football, which I don't think Michael would have liked much (since bathing them etc he seemed to genuinely care for them). Well, I had a double dose of Michael on Friday. Went to the booksigning in Glasgow and saw him on the telly :D

I'd planned to say something to him when I met him, but I just couldn't lol.. Oh well, there's always next time! :)

I guess Jonathan Ross is a talk show host? Palin seems to be getting around a lot these days.

Speaking of book signings, I once took my son to meet one of the original astronauts. When the big moment came, we had nothing to say, either.

I enjoyed the interview and I thought MP cleverly evaded really answering Ross's qeestion on romantic temptation. J Ross displayed an enormous respect for him and did not push hard on any of the personal topics. The rest of the show was a little boring though.

That lady didn't know what to make of Jonathan! She looked really scared about what he was going to ask next!

I though the interview was great, although i would like permission to shoot my mum and her boyfriend. They were talking all the way through and when i told them to shut up because he was talking, they started mock bowing and being really sarcastic!! She was also making fun of Michael's hair, which should be an executable offense anyway! How annoying can you get?!

I didn't understand why Mr Woss didn't like the clip from Life of Brian, until i wealised that he spoke like that too! It should have been edited to be "welease Woss!"

It was a good interview; for once Jonathan Ross actually let MP get a word in edgeways, which isn't usually the case... he's a chat show host who prefers to do most of the talking himself which is irritating.
Another question he asked Michael was what medication is best to take to which he replied along the lines of "Take everything, if you take it you won't need it, just the one thing you *didn't* take" :)
