What a question! It's pretty obvious what my fave Xmas film is: Life of Brian!

Chris.

Never thought of Life of Brian as a Christmas movie, but it would be a good choice.
Ironically, in my Toastmasters meeting tonight, I got a Table Topics question asking whether the Holiday Season has lost its original meaning.

Life of Brian Chris??!!! My fave film of Michael's is "Private Function". How he could sit there and trim Alison Steadman's toe-nails, I will never know!

Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. EVERYONE should see it, Burton rocks!!

Private Function is sooooo funny Lynne! Especially the bit where they have the pig upstairs and are having to lean out the window because she has the runs and, to say the least, niffs a bit!!!

Another Tim Burton- Edward Scissorhands. Sooooooooo good!!

"Grinch" with Jim Carey, I predict will be his most memorable film. "It's a Wonderful Life" with James Stewart, which was made in 1945, I believe, was totally forgotten until the Muppet characters, Bert and Ernie, Jim Henson's creations, brought attention to the film in the 70's.

I also like Private Function!!! It's very funny indeed. Apart from Python-movies I enjoy watching Dickens stories as Xmas films (not only Xmas Carol).

Oh, btw, Anne the Spursfan: you're absolutely right... in the question of Xmas. Furthermore, nobody from different religions bothers about Xmas. They usually enjoy it.

Chris.
