I get too distracted, for safety's sake, by music on long trips, especially classical which puts me into a netherworld which makes me tend to miss all my turn-offs. I listen to NPR ("National Public Radio" for those of you outside of the U.S. - the only intelligent talk shows on the dial - and listener-funded at that....) I drive every couple of months between Northern and Southern California and now I can get an NPR station for almost the whole trip if I'm travelling on Hwy. 5 - a sign that California may be, at last, be declared as being civilized.

Pink Floyd is great if you're in traffic, Def Leppard is great if you're not!

Sight is right. National Public Radio is excellent. I know I know, the liberal bend, but it has good topical stories.
