I'm planning on buying the book there the night before (Chicago book signing). It'll give me a chance to 'scope out' the place and I'll have my reciept. That way, I won't have to worry about dealing with it the day of and will have my reciept handy 'just in case'.

Mary, sorry for the slow response...Ive gotten very slack with my postings lately....damn chat room!

I actually bought my Hemingway book at the signing (NO, NOT THE NOVEL!)
and yes, they made people buy it AGAIN, if they had brought a copy with
them it was bad luck!
I'm SURE Michael didn't have a part in this DISGRACEFUL behaviour!
Annemarie...there are NO silly questions here...any Michael related question ain't silly!

Hey, so long as it's not Michael who you refer to as n*ce (or is that .... LOL!) ;O)

It's all groovy, Karen - I've got the exact opposite problem - I spend all my set 'Palinites Time' on the board and not the chatroom. Otherwise I'd miss too many of you. :O) (And I'd be seeing a lot of Michelle. Heh heh.)
