I'm planning on buying the book there the night before (Chicago book signing). It'll give me a chance to 'scope out' the place and I'll have my reciept. That way, I won't have to worry about dealing with it the day of and will have my reciept handy 'just in case'.

Thank you so much everyone!!! I know it was a silly question to ask, but I just wanted to know what to expect! This is so exciting!!! I still have 24 days to go and already I can't sit still!

Mary, sorry for the slow response...Ive gotten very slack with my postings lately....damn chat room!

I actually bought my Hemingway book at the signing (NO, NOT THE NOVEL!)
and yes, they made people buy it AGAIN, if they had brought a copy with
them it was bad luck!
I'm SURE Michael didn't have a part in this DISGRACEFUL behaviour!
Annemarie...there are NO silly questions here...any Michael related question ain't silly!
The Palinites on the other hand....
Karen:)

I'll continue the sentence;

The Palinites on the other hand are very, very, very, very, very silly and very, very, very, very, very nice to boot!

Shh! Don't tell Michael, but I said the 'n' word.

Re: Book Signing Question by Rusted on 12 March 2003 8:12am

Hey, so long as it's not Michael who you refer to as n*ce (or is that .... LOL!) ;O)

It's all groovy, Karen - I've got the exact opposite problem - I spend all my set 'Palinites Time' on the board and not the chatroom. Otherwise I'd miss too many of you. :O) (And I'd be seeing a lot of Michelle. Heh heh.)

Mary, do I detect yet another hint of sarcasm from you? *Hehe*

Cheers,
Michelle :)
