Well, I was sitting out here in the New Mexico desert and the most humongous thunderstorm came up out of the East - beaucoup lightning and thunder that shook the house. I could see that the people five miles to the North and to the South were getting drenched but nary a drop fell here. It MUST have been the work of the devil. (Now, if only I could figure out if that sign meant that he thinks that I'm on his side or against him....)

in year nine the day before my birthday was a friday. it was one of the worst days of my life. basicly everyone, teachers included, either passed over me or bullied me. the funny thing was that the next morning all the hurt had gone and i could celebrate my birthday happily.

you know if you add up the numbers 666 you get 18. add one and eight together and you get the number 9. which is the number of completion.

if you add 1 and 3 together you get 4. the number of stability.

In Jewish tradition, 18 is a lucky number.
When I was a kid, my father got me a New York Jets football jersey with the number 18. Instead of being grateful, I was humiliated.

18 was the number of the terrible backup quarterback Al Woodall. Everyone of course wanted number 12, Joe Namath. Let's say school was rough for a while LOL!

Hmm ... I once had a credit card that had 666 in it. The store clerks had a fit everytime I used it. :)

I'm not saying there isn't significance in numbers! Numerology is an interesting subject. But you don't want to let yourseld get creeped out by things, that's all I'm saying.

I believe another reason for the issues around #13 is that it was the number of people in an ideally put-together coven.

My favorite baseball player, Mike Piazza, wanted #13 but it was already taken so he used #31. (Now he wears #33 and he's become a very mediocre player!)

In Hebrew, the number system is like Roman numerals - the letters of the alphabet are used. The word "LIFE" - chai, as in the drinking toast "l'chayim" (To Life) - is also the number 18. It is traditional to give money gifts in multiples of 18 for birthdays and weddings, and once, a Jewish neighbor threw 18 cents change onto the floor of my new car.
