*GASPS!* I LOVE THIS SHOW! I have every DVD they have released so far! It is one of my life's great ambitions to massage Mrs. Slocombe's pussy before I die! AYBS was first shown when I was a teenager and a newly wed. There was a strike - was it the miners I can't remember - which meant that to save power there was a three-day working week, and the electricity went off quite often. I seem to remember it was the winter of discontent, but I may be wrong!

I seem to remember having early nights because of the cold and watching AYBS snuggled up in bed!!

AYBS is televised 6 days a week here in Maryland. I guess I;ve seen those tv shows a gazillion times and I laugh everyt ime. it always amazes me how absolutely fantastic the costumes are, like when they dance and have themes, the German day, the Greek wedding, and so on...

Thomas, I love John Inman too . Well the whole show is a real hoot, really!
