The original...although I despise the later one too ;)

Kazzzz, I agree with you re Adam Sandler. And add any Rob Schneider movie to the list!

Starship Troopers was pretty woeful. Anyone seen that?

We wasted $12 and 2 1/2 hrs. of our lives on "Starship Troopers" because we are fanatics of the band Yes and they named the film STARSHIP TROOPERS, for no good reason at all. It sucked!

I definitely agree about "Titanic". I dissolved in giggles at so much of the horrible dialogue which earned me the enmity of the ladies near me who were dissolved in tears. It has to be the worst written big budget film ever made.

I have no cherished childhood memories of the original "Willy Wonka" and have never been able to get through it all as an adult but I really liked the remake, most of all for that weird accent Depp had.

Oh yes Rob Schneider is awful.

Anything with Steven Segal is absolutely ghastly too.

Johnny Depp didn't use an accent in "Willy Wonka". He was aiming at sounding like a host of a show for preschoolers. It just seemed so wrong to me, and not at all what I'd expected from Johnny Depp. He could have been so much better if he'd tried to be intelligently eccentric and sort of cluelessly benevolent, like the character in the book. (Come to think of it, that sort of describes John Cleese, doesn't it? LOL!) And that whole thing with the braces was just an awful, awful idea!

But I did like the Oompa Loompa(s) and the updated music, and the fact that we get to see the bratty kids after their transformations.

Aw, come on Blasi! Austin Powers is funny. Cracks me up every time.

I could make a hate list of a dozen items, but to me, none of them stands near a '80s British "video nasty" called XTro. A total sickening waste complete with awful acting. Saw it twenty years ago but the very memory of it still gives me the creeps...
