I shopped on e-bay. Felt really smug about it, too. Then this morning I got a notice from e-bay that they'd suspended the seller I bought 4 gifts from and it's highly unlikely that I'll be receiving what I bought. I can probably get my money back from PayPal eventually but now I have to go out and shop. This includes his staff of 12 odd. 'We' do the shoppng early in the year, except for odd bits. However, I am sure that the gifts 'mate' as there never seems to be an end to the wrapping!! The faster I wrap them (and I like to make them special with rosettes and things) the more there seems to be! Anne   Re: im going on a very difficult journey today by foreignrabbit on 19 December 2006 11:24pm   -this is the third night in a row im up past 1am. i never sleep later than 7 so this is a problem. i'm telling you this so you can all know that this is the product of christmas shopping. walking around in that mall with no air light or quiet for 6 hours has messed up my sleeping cycle. one more reason to hate shopping. when asked to go shopping again tommorow i promptly replyied that i would sooner swallow a hedgehog.   Re: im going on a very difficult journey today by kazzzz on 19 December 2006 11:56pm   Bugger, I'm not finished, I forgot the bleedin' work Kris Kringle pressie AAAAAAAARGH!!!   Re: im going on a very difficult journey today by johnnythemonkey on 20 December 2006 5:18pm   I bought my wife's christmas pressies today.This is the earliest ever!Usually it is a mad dash around the shops on christmas eve, with my youngest daughter in tow,( she is now 14).The thing is,it is only Margaret that I have to shop for,as she does all the rest.I finish work on Friday evening,for the holiday period,so now I can relax!
