DEUS EX MACHINA by foreignrabbit on 26 February 2007 3:43pm
please go read it, it's very special to me. it's a short story by hari kunzru. it's called deus ex machina.

Anne this is specifically for you. i read an earlier thread (napkins) when i remembered this wonderful story i read 2 years ago. i'm so amazed that i found it, i decided to share it with you all.

Fun read! by Lounge Trekker on 26 February 2007 5:32pm
That is a fun piece of work, Martin, Thanks for sharing it with us. Not a point of view many of us have considered, but might be an interesting career path...for those pre-disposed enough to have lived a life warranting recruitment by the Union.

i really enjoy hari's work. he's partial to my way of thinking so i appreciate his writing not wanting to change me but in a way agree with me. this is all subjective of course.

Pete i've been trying to get hold of some of your music, what i've seen (not much) is very nice.

acoustic alchemy is very good
