Is there a plumber in the house!! by johnnythemonkey on 19 March 2007 10:45am

Just as the family left for work/school and I thought I would have a peaceful morning,I found water leaking from beneath the kitchen sink. It is only a washing machine hose that needs replaced but it means having to get ready and go to the DIY store when all I wanted to do was sit on my backside and read or something. Oh well, shit happens!

Job done! Apart from the tydying up. Does everyone keep so much stuff below their kitchen sink? There seems to be enough cleaning stuff for the average factory!
Time for tea, biccies and Benson& Hedges!

Handy tip! (I'm turning this into a DIY site.)
If you ever have to move a washing machine (alright not a daily chore);see those little rubber feet at the base? Well smear a little washing -up liquid on the floor on the path they will take and; Voila! it slides out no probs with no damage to the floor!
I'm in the wrong job!

Good tip.

Actually, someone should start a thread like that 'handy tips'.

Oh well, no time like the present.
