Amazon website not secure. by Ken Dunn on 23 July 2007 12:14am

I have just found out by accident that the Amazon website for book orders is not secure. I can't give details here as that would cause them big problems. Be very careful if you use Amazon and other people have access to the same computer as you.

Ooh that's not good... I'm too scared to buy anything on the internet actually.

I`m with you Kazzz, if I cannot buy it within 20 miles of where I live, there MUST be something wrong with my shopping technique.

Wheelrim, all the cops I know do their ' shopping ', when attending break-ins at shops.

" All down to the insurance, innit ? "

Oh dear... I thought you were off to Ireland.... transport problems? Donkey shed a shoe?.
The shopping thing, its Purely coincidence that all my electrical items have a small scratch on them, and even more coincidental that it is where the serial No used to be.
Pure coincidence, no more. no less.

I have to put in a tough shift at work first Wheelnut. Sound familiar ? Did'nt think so. Off to the Emerald Isle in the early morn. Just thought I'd kill a few more brain cells by coming on here.

What's all this got to do with Amazon ?

Definitely don't drink the water.

Kill off a few brain cells? can you afford to?

Comforting, Ken, comforting, but cannot say I am surprised.:(

LOL! Wheelrim, brain cells can regenerate (sounds like a bad Sci Fi movie), but they need time...

Yes, a seller is trying to send me a book I didn't order and they seem to have Amazon's backing for doing so. I'll keep you updated.
