railways of the world by belick on 11 September 2007 10:18pm

I know of Michael's love of trainspotting and all things on rails. I was just wondering if on his trip to Lviv in the Ukraine, if he visited the massive railway depot there? If you can find Lviv railway station on google earth you will see it, you can't miss it! I spent a couple of days this easter on a bridge that spans it watching the two turntables, locomotive sheds (no steam sadly) the endless sidings and trains. Having watched the virtualy the end of the railways in the UK this facinating place is a joy. Has anyone else seen it or know of another somewhere in the world?

Interesting railway station. Not surprised Lviv is a major rail junction.

Also, a fun railroad site, The Man in Seat 61.
