The Chatter Box : Blathering On
Company Picnic. by tucsonmike on 24 September 2007 1:49am
My boss is teasing me. I won, but for the wrong team! Their catcher did not show up, so I played for the warehouse instead.
I also played a volleyball game. I had a blast, but am exhausted.
It has been a busy weekend, today and a City Councilwomans house yesterday. I need a day off, LOL!

Yes but you will be a heck of a lot fitter than you were a few weeks ago! Just think of the mental benefits that will give to your writing...

Today we had more food. It was the softball game against the managers. We won big time, but poor Anastase got hurt. We rode together. I had to feed him they drive him home and his son drove me home. (We can walk to each others houses). He had never played softball before July and he hit his first home run today. On the next at bat, he slid into home and scraped his legs and it looks as though he broke his wrist.

His wife (who I did not meet until tonight is gorgeous) greeted me in French and proceeded to yell @ Anastase in Kiriwanda (sp). His oldest son joyfully translated. She told him "Congratulations great sports hero, but aren't you getting a little bit old for that?" I told him he is an American sports hero, so this will speed up his getting a green card.
