Nick Middleton's Going to Extremes by poppylv on 19 October 2007 11:46am

Yesterday I was cleaning up and I found an old videotape with some eps of Going to Extremes with Nick Middleton (aired by Discovery Channel). It struck me how much it was like the MP series! Nick Middleton was traveling along the Silk Road in this one so he visited some of the same places Michael went for Himalaya.

Still, if I compare the two Michael is doing a much better job. It still made for some good viewing though but I think it's time to tape over poor Nick crawling up mount Kailash and some wicked sand dunes in the Gobi desert.

Has anyone seen this series and what did you think (in comparison to MP, to stay on topic here ;) There was another series about hot, cold etc.
