Who'da thought it?

Somebody wishes Michael dead. I forgot to take a clipping of the newspaper article for scanning, but the other day I read an article in the Daily Mail (don't worry it was my Grandmothers, I don't buy that paper anymore) in which there was a huge hullabaloo over how Slovakia was portrayed during the New Europe over the pig slaying, etc. It interviewed some Slovaks, and one of them wished Michael had been "run over by that tank in Germany" for how the country was portraryed (I can't remember what episode the tank was from, but....). Michael's first hate mail/death threat. What a novelty LOL :D |

I had not seen that. Good grief. I saw pig slayings in Virginia all the time. (Referred to as "hog killin' time)"
Some people, hopefully, it is just a crank. |

Wishing harm to "The Nice Python" is sinking pretty low. But I guess humor is in short supply in Slovakia. |

I DO read the mail, despite my political leanings - I think it is a good paper.
here is the article you refer to, I think I posted it in another string.

in adequate reply to the recent protest note, the British Embassy in Slovakia should now send one to them for threatening the National Treasure... Lol... I am definitely in a playFOOL mood tonight... |

Yeah that's the one I read, Spursfan.
Daily Mail? I used to read it too and the layout is good, but it's morphed into a sensationalist joke akin to The Sun (imo)

Hah-hah, Daily Mail certainly has some fantastically idiotic things to say, read this article and you'll see. When in Britain, I'll never buy it...

Just delightfully silly!!
Loved this bit:
...the exclusively-male cult of Python-worship...
WHAAAAAAT????
BTW I wonder if the author knows that the title song for One Foot in the Grave that he "indiscreetly" praised was written by Eric:D |

oh Mike, I wouldn't bother to respond to that.
Yes, I also loved this "Python-male-worship" bit. Is the author blind ? Or deaf or just plain dumb ?... |
