I reread the beginning of Hemingway. Actually now, his interest makes sense, though he is correct about the fact that Hemingway probably would not have liked him.

what do you mean, Mike, by "now his interest makes sense"? It didn't before ?... Funny thing, I'm listening to the same audiobook now. Great fun.

Just didn't pay attention when the book came out Kisch, to use an American railroad term; "I fell asleep @ the switch."

Otherwise, I could not fathom Mr. P's interest in Hemingway. Maybe I will delve a little deeper into it...

He wrote a novel, which is occasionally to be found in Charity shops (UK) or possibly Thrift shops (is that the US equivalent?) called HEMINGWAY'S CHAIR, which I picked up last year & which i recommend if you see it anywhere. Might even be cheap on Amazon.
