I had the TV on in the break room @ work and CBS is on. They were doing an entire story on the Early Show about her. What is the deal with her? What do the folks in the U.K. think of her? |

Well, I believe that she is comparing herself with the McCanns and Princess Diana as she is being hounded by the Press. Apparently she broke down in tears on Breakfast TV over here. She did the wrong thing there - I think she should have kept quiet and kept her dignity. People seem to think that she is out for all she can get from Paul McCartney.
It seems like she wants all the publicity she can get. |

She strikes me as a manipulative, Machiavellian type. It wouldn't surprise me at all if she married McCartney for the divorce settlement.
She also has quite the seedy past which she's consistently fibbed about. |

I agree with Sue, here- she loses credibility with every tearful outburst. 'Those who live by the media die by the media'. It doesn't leave a good impression in the mind of the general public.
I'm still sorry for her, though. She has fought back from addiction, etc. & deserves credit for that & charitable work, etc. |

Leave the woman alone, divorce is bad enough without being hounded. I saw her breakfast interview and it appeared that she was at her wit's end and was just trying to plead for a bit of peace. I know she's made a bombshell financial killing out of the whole thing but still, I bet she'd rather still have her marriage intact. |

I don't necessarily think she wishes her marrage was still intact. I thknk she went into it for the money and power it would bring her. She admitted the latter, according to news reports here in the USA today. She previously said she was out to marry a rich famous person with power who would in turn give her power for her own agenda. I have no sympathy for her whatsoever. She was a gold digger from the start and is getting more than she deserves in one respect and not enough in the other. Paul is giving her all the rope he can so maybe she will eventually hang herself. I feel she just about has. I hope so. Divorve isn't easy or fun, but get real. it won't kill her. She's just bitter grapes that people have seen her for her true self. Some people can't stop making fools of themselves. The new agent she just hired looks to me to be a real piece of work herself, too!!!! |

As much as I sympathize with Paul, I can't believe he's blameless. It's hard to believe her accusations that he was abusive and controlling, but how do we know? He can afford better lawyers and press people than she can. And he's been in the limelight long enough that he knows when to keep his mouth shut. She just keeps digging herself deeper and deeper every time she opens her mouth. |

You know what they say, it takes two to tango. The publicist is a Hollywood hair stylist, with an accent mixed with faux French and Sunset Blvd.
