Pailin's anti-serb bias by princepetr on 18 November 2007 1:05am

I was very disappointed to to read in Michael's book on New Europe the following "Slobodan Milosevic, ex-President of Serbia, died of a heart attack at The Hague after his conviction for war crimes".
Now first of all Slobo was not convicted of anything and died an innocent man, that's not my personal view THAT IS A FACT! Secondly, it is very naive to say he died of a heart attack.. It is patently obvious to anyone who knows anything about the Hague trial that Slobo was killed because he was making fools of his accusers. Palin has gone down in my estimation for putting his name to such inaccurate rubbish

I've removed my previous comment. Princepetr is causing enough mischief without my help.

Dear princepetr, I guess it was enough to post this rotten opinion of yours ONCE in ONE section of this message board, which you already did. And it was QUITE enough, believe me. And if nobody ever taught you internet ethics, this is called "flooding" and not considered a good taste. Also, calling someone "rasist plonker" is not a great thing too, if you didn't know that. Not many people would take your seriously after that. I'm sorry if it sounds didactic, but someone should have said this to you.

Princepetr, Agreed you are a Serb nationalist. That's OK, nothing wrong with that. I have not read the segment of the book yet on Serbia. True, Milosevic had not been convicted (yet). Did he die of a heart attack? Probably. There was no percentage in having him turn up dead.

John, you can say Milosevic can rot and hell, but why should ALL Serbia rot in hell. (I would refrain from saying that too loudly in certain bars in Pittsburgh). Not all Serbs are killers.
If we do that, we are stooping to the same bigotry Mr. P decries and is trying to eliminate when he travels.

Final note princepetr. The two young ladies Katia and Kisch are Russian. Supposedly Serbia's ally. Kisch did speak correctly about Internet flooding.
If Serbia wants to be a working part of the European Union and prosper, it is going to need to get beyond Kosovo Pole.
1389 is a long time ago. Sometimes, Americans' lack of history gets in the way. Other times, at least our history does not hold us back.
As your fellow Serb and basketball player Vlade Divac would say, "The ball in in your court, Princepetr."

I am no racist. Facts are facts and history does'nt lie if it is interpreted by honest people.
Must admit though, I can be a bit of a plonker but no-one is ever brave enough to say that to my face. ;)

Tuscombe Mike
What makes you think I am a Serb Nationalist? I am neither a Serb or of Serb extraction. I was, like Johnnythe monkeyboy vaguely anti-serb until I actually looked beyond the propaganda spewed out by the western media. So you think that Kosovo, which since NATO intervention, is drug running, people smuggling Central, should be given over completely to the ethnic Albanian criminals who will ethnically cleanse the few brave Serbs who have stayed in the province? .Milosevic stood up to Islamic fundamentilists long before 9/11 (which he warned the US about), and what thanks did he get? none! his country got bombed instead. The US Govermment reaped what it sowed by playing Realpoltik in so many countries and destroying multi-ethnic Socialist Yugoslavia. As for Russia being the Serbs ally, what a joke that is!, Russia only cares about Russia, some Serbs look to Russia, but out of desperation only.
Johnnythemonkey
"History doesn't lie" eh? what do you know about the history of the Balkans? Please do not pontificate on a subject that you so obviously know so little about.

Oh I see Kirsch its alright to say a whole race should "rot in hell" but not to call one person a racist plonker for doing so? What strange "ethics" you have!
