Cruel and Unusual by notquitenglish on 15 April 2003 12:49am

I used to be fairly laid-back, but recently my mom has been telling me that I'm mean. I don't know why... maybe because I was making fun of one of my brother's friends, who is rather on the slow side (not actually mentally deficient, but just enough where it gets irritating). And I know the last few short stories I wrote ended with, respectively, someone ending up in a looney-bin, someone getting shot, and someone's face coming apart. But the last two were actually kind of funny.... even my mom laughed and she doesn't much appreciate my sense of humour. But why am I getting so mean?
Help! I need a dose of niceness!

And with Easter approaching, try painting some eggs with little children. Maybe with a neice, nephew, or cousin?

That's all I can think of today. I haven't been feeling very well, and thinking isn't the isn't the easiest thing right now. lol ;)

Well, everyone is a bit mean sometimes...we're only human after all!
Except for Patty. She's not mean EVER!

Anyhoo, eat a creme egg..all traces of meanness will vanish instantly!

Don't worry about it - when I was a kid and had to write essays for school, the strories were always quite gory with people dying and mutations and horrible stuff. My mam was worried about me and asked my teacher what the hell was wrong with me but she just said that it was grand and that it only meant that I had a good imagination. So tell your mam that.

I'm just getting to the point where I remind myself of Evelyn Waugh. Nearly all his stories had horrible endings, though they were quite funny. Now if only I could write like he does, I'd be set for life...
