I see you diplomatically desist from commenting, Ellerd.
Will they give him a 21-gun salute ?
Will he be buried in a chariot ?
Will he be buried wearing his toupee ?
Will we have to be subjected to re-runs of all his old movies on the B.B.C ?
You can tell I was a fan of his. |

I was. I loved him to bits. What a striking individual he was. Handsome "as all get-out", as the old saying goes. |

Great actor, very talented, and probably the best epic film actor ever. |

'Tis a shame we lost him and 'tis a shame he had alzheimer's. He'll always be the only Moses I'll ever know. |

Has anyone plucked his rifle out of his cold dead hands yet? Tasteless yes, but no more so than his insistence on personal gun ownership and use in the US which has doubtless led to the less than tasteful deaths of many innocent Americans from gun fanatics over the years. |

Will he be put into Soylent Green?
Will his pall bearers be a bunch of damned, dirty apes?
(He must have had the best agent EVER.) |

LOL, Soylent Green ! Me and my mate Iain went to see that in the cinema when we were 15, then for a while afterwards we went around exclaiming " Soylent Green is made of people ! "
Seemed funny at the time. The 1970's were like that.........shit. |

You're right, Johnny. People could be a lot weirder in the 1970s and get away with it. And when you're young, you can get away with a lot more than you can when you're middle aged. |
