The Hunt for HMAS Sydney, on ABC tonight?

How incredibly sad. Especially the poor woman married to her husband only a few hours before he went off on the doomed voyage.

Ohh noooooooooooo that was tonight? I missed it!!! I think my Dad would've taped it though because my Great uncle was on the Sydney and we particularly wanted to see the show. *off to phone him and see*

Kazzz, I hope you get to see it. I can't imagine what your family went through back then. One poor lady didn't get official confirmation of her husband's death until six years after the sinking. :'(

Dad video taped it :) Going to see it tomorrow :)

Ellerd my Great uncle was on the ship, my Great aunt waited for him to come back for her whole life, stood by the gate every day for the rest of her life, it was awful.
