The Bombay shave by tommytheyank on 15 May 2008 7:41pm

So I saw the scene where Michael gets the shave from the barber in Bombay, & here's a silly question: his narration says quite briefly that the barber may have been blind. Was he or was Palin making a jokey observation?

I'll have to watch it again but I'm inclined to believe it. Just couldn't be sure the way Palin was narrating.

Many of the street barbers in India are blind.
