Copied wheelnut there. I'm off because some threads have really pissed me off and depressed me. I can do that all by myself.
John.

Please reconsider John. It's just a phase that will pass. Love, Linz

Add me to that, what a shame that the site has come to this. It's been fun I've been here from the start along with Patty and Missy. I'll miss it
Take care all

Oh, Johnny--who else can I *really* piss on life with but you? Please stay. ;-) The forum needs your interesting points of view.

But this is why I said that we need to ingore flamers. No matter what you say to them, they can go you one better. They don't want honest, open dialog, they just want to stir up trouble. Trying to deal with them just creates more bitterness and unhappiness without solving anything. Breaking up the core is what it's all about.

Don't let them win, Johnny. You belong here as much as anyone else.

I can't believe this website, I really can't. It's a Michael Palin website for crying out loud. Yet for some reason it attracts all kinds of freaks, wierdos and seemingly psychologically flawed folks.

Like most I'm a massive Michael fan which is why I came here really - for Michael related stuff. When I got here it was in the grip of some complete bell-end calling himself King Michael the first or something. At first I just ignored him until he decided to play stupid games with an innocent enquiry I'd made about a Michael book signing which dragged me into the petty squabbling on this website. Did that guy actually leave here or is he still around?

Then on other occasions I've been on the end of some unpleasant natured stuff, barbed comments and the like. It seems that a certain clique of people have made this place their home. Good for them, I can't say I care much as I am only a sporadic visitor to palinstravels, but every time I do visit it seems there is utter nonsense like this going on all of the time. Now I would expect this kind of thing on some of the other sites I frequent, particularly the football ones, where plenty of young, testosterone fuelled lads like to let off steam but here on a site dedicated to Michael Palin and his travels I thought the users would be made up of mature adults. How wrong could I be? And before anyone says 'if you don't like it, ignore it' how can you when it dominates the message boards?

What a sad place this is. The message boards need an overhaul. If that involves some of you spitting your dummies out and leaving then fantastic. Maybe then us Michael Palin fans can come on here when we wish and have an enjoyable experience.

Hopefully not, Ellerd. Hey Vlad. Just another bad patch with some real silliness. The site is Mr. P's after all. He can pull it whenever he pleases if WE cannot act like adults.
