Yeah, he's OK, a bit boriong....(yawns, and cowers away from the torrent of abuse...:) )

Whatever happened to his brother (or cousin) Peter Firth? He was around a lot on the London stage up to 10 years ago? Movies?

Linda, they are not related. I don't think they even resemble each other.

Gutted that he was gay in Mamma Mia 'cause I couldn't be a voyeur of a sunkissed snog with a girlie.
'Nanny McPhee' did nothing for my libido. Something to do with horrible kids and death.
'Bridget Jones'...I haven't been there and done that....but if Colin's older than me I'll risk it, after I've checked out Mr. P's kissers.

I'm sure you're right, Patty - I make this sort of mistake often!

Talking of Mamma Mia (which I loved by the way) my husband's brother's mother-in-law [you see if I said my sister-in-law's Mum you'd be confused, right?!!] went to the premiere in London!!

She was pleased as punch and saw all the stars; she was on the red carpet.

Her brother, who lives in London (don't know what he does) had tickets for both Wimbledon and the premiere that day and couldn't do both. She happened to be staying with him for a few days and so he gave the ticket to her!!

Lucky thing!!

She seems like a darling on the talk shows in the USA. So down to earth. Sensible, and funny too.

I still haven't seen Mamma Mia! It's prob almost on DVD now.
Celebs make themselves so much more appealing when they're nice! And it's not hard being nise is it. If I've heard that a celeb has been nasty to someone I don't really bother watching their stuff any more. It's the same in shops, I go to the shops where the satff are nice, I don't mind paying a bit more. If someone's rude to me in a shop i don't go back.
