Reminds me of when a neighbour of mine called in on a November 30th evening quite distraught. She had eaten the chocolates from her childrens advent calenders and all the local shops had sold out of them. I do understand though.

I keep a stash of very dark chocolate around for when I need a fix. But all my relatives are either on diets or are diabetic, so I don't buy chocolates for anyone anymore. |

That's too many, Kaz. I LOVE dark choccie but can't go above 60%. We have 70% here too. It's a bit too much . Bitter and semisweet are good, but 70% churns my intestines. |

Confess, or you shall get...THE COMFY CHAIR!
Give me chocolate; or give me death. Just the chocolate, not the nuts! |

The trick is to get them to gift wrap the chocolates at the store first! Then you're less likely crack them open.. :) |

My stash is one or more "Endangered Species" 70% chocolate bars. It's made from ethically traded shade grown cocoa beans, and 10% of the company's profits go to supporting "species, habitat, and humanity". They come in several varieties, but the only one I like is the one with the espresso beans in it. Very low in sugar, just the way I like it.
