What is your favourite musical/s?

In no particular order, mine are My Fair Lady, An American in Paris, Singin' in the Rain, The Phantom of the Opera, South Pacific and Sweeney Todd. Plus about a dozen more, LOL!

My fav on B'way is the original Dreamgirls. I did not and will not see the movie as good as it may be! My fav movie of all time in all genres is The Blues Brothers.

Cabaret is one of my favourites. I am going to see "Carousel" tomorrow (another favourite). A present from my daughter.

Yep,I've always had a soft spot for CAROUSEL; my parents took me to see a open-air version of this musical donkey's years ago, when I was little,(not bIG),in Peasholm Park,Scarborough,a seaside town in Yorkshire, which made a fine impression on me,because the stage was huge and there was a lake between the audience and the players on stage. This 'island' theatre is currently being revived after a 20-year absence, with a production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's musical---(would you believe?)---of "CAROUSEL"..You can read the full story of this amazing revival at:
