Shortbread disaster

I made the first batch of the season yesterday and the oven in this place is so good, they all burnt:( They were only in for not even 10 mins!!!
I shall be making more today and trying not to eat TOO many ;) |

Hm, I can smell the burnt ones all the way across the pacific and USA to the east coast! Keep your eyes on the oven. No more "Oops!" |

Do they sell Dean's or Walker's shortbread in OZ? Which do you prefer? Everybody can chime in with their preference. Just wondering. |

They are both made in Scotland. I never see Dean's here but we see Walker's everywhere. |

Oh, I LOOOOVE Walker's! They have so much fat, though! I guess that's why they're so good.
I haven't made Christmas cookies in years. Maybe I'll do it this year. |

Oh yes they're terrible! Practically all butter, dreadful when you think about it , that's why I DON'T think about it! AND I ice them. |

My Mom has made 3 batches of chocolate chip so far. Or at elast the dough. This week I'll help her actually bake them. And of course, I'll be the QC team. lol |
