If anyone is looking for an amazing place to travel to go to iceland. its unbelievable. The landscape is increadable. One moment the landscape is alsmost like the moon and the next there is a gigantic waterfall. The towns and cities are so clean and safe and the people are really friendly. The architecture is something else, there are no two similar buildings in the whole country. Definatly worth a trip.

I have given iceland some thought and it just might be a chosen destination for me some day.

IN which season did you go, pdhealy? BTW, what is your name and where do you live, if I may ask?

I went in May, and i was very lucky with the weather. It didn't rain once and it was a lovely temperature. The seasons vary from snow and ice in winter to lovely temperate weather in the summer.

I would like to go back to Iceland - didn't see enough of it! It was September and bit cold but nice and fresh. I was pony-trekking (a long time ago, though!). Glad you enjoyed it, Phily.

its one of 5 places on a list of visits this year.

One will certainly Montay in Northern France and the other will be Tromsø and the outlying towns and villages, depends how the money holds up.

How much is it for a couple to eat in Iceland?

I have always wanted to visit Iceland, I've always wanted to see the ponies in their natural environment.
I guess the weather/climate is pretty much similar than in Finland, so at least that shouldn't cause me any troubles :)
