- if you celebrate Christmas, or just like the tunes & words?
Having yesterday been to my first carol service for 20 years, definitely 'Hark the Herald Angels Sing.'
Good ol' Charles Wesley. |

I love 'God Rest ye merry, gentlemen'.
Nothing to do with its religious meanings. I love the music as it really invokes Georgian/early Victorian England to me. Even the title does!!

I'm not a big one of carols, but I performed "Coventry Carol" and "Celebrate Me Home" at holiday recitals when I took singing lessons some years ago. |

My favourite these past few years has been "We Three Kings" because of the fun I have when three of us men can sing it together.

I would have to say Carol Cleveland. |

I also like Three Kings (from Persian Lands Afar) - presume that's the title.
We sang it to parents when in the last year of primary school (what would now be Year 6) after weeks of practice and I loved it and still do but you don't often hear it. |

I'm a musician; I can't pick just one! I love "From Jesse's Stock Upspringing" (Es Ist Ein Ros Entsprungen". Such a gorgeous tune, and very sweet words. I also love "Ideo"--an old German tune, very strongly rhythmic. I think for words alone, I like "In the Bleak Midwinter" best.
There are two songs by John Rutter that I adore, even though they're not carols from the hymn book: "Candlelight Carol" and "What Sweeter Music". I love the words and music to both. |

I would have to plump for Carol Vorderman, and I wouldn't mind sitting at her feet as she sings Christmas carols.
At Christmas-time,I like to hear a Salvation Army band playing traditional Christmas carols in the street. |
