80 Days Revisited by Mr Rich on 20 December 2008 8:36pm

Hello,

Is anybody else dissapointed that the 80 days revisited show will be all about the dhow people?? I can't believe it. Why doesn't Michael go back to Hong Kong to see his friend Basil and see their daughter who must be 20 years old now. Why doesn't he go back to Glenwood springs too.

Im really looking forward to the show but just dissapointed that he is not going to see anyone else he met on that incredible journey.

Rich

I look forward to the programme but I agree that it would've been nice to revisit other parts of the journey.
Still, it will be a nice little earner for Michael.

It would have been nice if he had re-done the whole journey - though he could have done it more comfortably (say in a helicopter or something).

Mr Rich, it might not be all about the dhow people.
He might go to that club that was closed when he got back from the first '80 days' and see if he can get in this time!

Which places would you like to see revisited and shown in the new programme? I will start. Each of us can only put 2 suggestions down

Here is mine...

1. Hong Kong to see Basil and his family since their little girl was born on the day Michael started his journey.

2. Glenwood Springs to see how the pool has changed and to see if Marion is still at the dog kennels

1) The Orient Express part of the journey.

2) The Pacific Ocean part of the journey.

Good choices Ken, I concur.

It will be interesting to see how the episode plays out. Until then, I'll reserve judgment. Of course, I'll have to find a way to get a feed from the BBC since I'm thousands of miles away.

In Scotland the broadcast time is 9.40pm on 31/12/08 and the rest of the UK is 9pm on 30/12/08 - BBC1.
