Sigh - wish I had the Comedy Channel. Would take me back to my childhood, when we only had the ABC, so it was dinner, bath and into the jammies, and then in front of the tv to watch the Goodies!

Don't worry - you're not missing out on the goodies. The comedy channel refuses to play them because they're "too old". Yet they play the three stooges...

The Goodies is an English show from the 70's with Tim Brooke-Taylor, Graeme Garden and Bill Oddie. It's soooooo funny!

When I was a kid , I watched the goodies right from when they started and the re-runs and the re-runs right up I think when they stopped showing them in the early 90,s, so for anyone who hasn,t seen them try and get some vids these 3 guys as Sarah has said, Tim Graeme and bill are comedians just like the pythons, in fact they all went to university together and hung out and did comedy stuff together and are still friends.
Kath it seems that us and many other young Aussies would sit down week nights to watch the goodies, their humour runs along the lines of being Python designed for the younger and more sedate audience,oh and we can,t forget countdown !! My all time favourite music programme !! The goodies ran from about 1972 till 1983 thats pretty impressive, thats a lot of comedy !!!!! Hey Sarah the comedy channel isnt a commercial channel, what a load of rubbish that the goodies are to old, so if the goodies are old what does that make the 3 stooges ?
