OMG! It never ceases to amaze me how snakes can swallow creatures bigger than themselves.

Amazing creatures, those snakes. Oh dear... wouldn't want to meet one while walking down the street.

Oh dear! A hungry carnivorous python! I hope it suffered indigestion and severe flatulence,from being so wolfish...Mind you,I reckon that poor large lizard is a goner....sorry,I mean a goanna. :)

Goannas have the hugest claws, great big talons, how that snake managed to swallow the goanna and cope with the claws is beyond me. You'd think they'd rip the snake's insides to bits, even if the goanna was dead. We have wild goannas around where I live. They're pretty amazing animals. if they get a firght they run up the nearest tree, and of you're standing there you're the tree...people have been pretty badly lacerated by the claws.
