WHAT a week!! by kazzzz on 22 May 2009 8:26am
Hmm I wish I could remove this week from existance!!

We found out two days ago that the landlord of our property has defaulted on both the mortgages he has over this property, he has until next Tuesday to find $230,000 or it will be taken by the bank and sold. And we've been told that we will have 28 days to vacate. :( I rang our agent who told me that while she's QUITE sorry she's under no obligation to rehouse us or help us find something else. Rentals are hard to get, especially around here as the bushfires took so many homes so the rentals are all full while they're being rebuilt.

On top of THAT I'm hobbling about like an old woman, I have a protruding disc in my back and it's very painful, can't sleep or lie down and even walking is hard. Looking after Ava is near impossible, I have to have a CT scan and blood tests next week. Bah..

Moan over, thankyou for listening

*steps down from podium, with assistance*

That really is bad news Kaz. I knew about the house trouble and disc, but now you have to move on top of everything. Wish I was there to give you some help.

Don't know if Bert's been keeping you informed about her house problems. Terrible stories you'd never believe. Nightmare, really. I hope both of you can finally settle peacefully soon.

My god, Kazzzz, how DREADFUL. Like Patty & Judy, words fail me really.

Can your mother help with Ava? Or any other relatives around?

Any social housing (temporarily) available to you?

AND you're not well in yourself. Just - Lots of Love

Kazzzz, we have a small spare room here in Scotland but maybe that's a bit too far to travel for accommodation.
Also, after my experience about this time last year I am very good with back trouble. It sounds like you need to lie flat for a couple of weeks on a hard surface to settle your disc back into place and then strengthen your surrounding back muscles with gentle exercise to begin with. If any exercise hurts then don't do it.

Oh, Kazzzz!! Holy tihs!! Sending you hugs telepathically.

I'd hug you, Kazzzz, but I'm afraid I'd make your back worse. ;-) So here's a virtual cup of tea (or brew of your choice) and my best sympathetic face. So sorry about all the trouble in your life. I hope Katherine is helping you as much as she can.

Certainly a bad week for you, Kazzzz. It won't do your back any good having to move house. Let's hope it gets better soon.

Thanx all xxx have to wait until mid next week to hear any more. I'm trying to pretend it's not happening. I was taking pain killers which I have to not take coz the doc said they convert to morpheine in your body and when you're not taking them they create more pain, didn't quite understand what he was on about there but oh well. I have other ones less strong, not strong enough really though.
I have some very good new anti imflammatories which seem to be helping, which is a big bonus:)
