The Chatter Box : Blathering On
Hmm... by kazzzz on 5 June 2009 5:28am
We have a fair few cases of swine flu here now, and one of my friends rang the doctor for an appointment, he has flu-like symptoms. He was asked to go elsewhere and when he insisted, he was told that he could be seen in the car park by a doctor and was not allowed to enter the clinic!

Ava is ill at the moment she has a resperitory infection, coughing away, poor little thing:( I hate cold season.

We had an epidemic of chicken pox one year, and the doctors were seeing possible cases in the parking lots of their offices.

So far, no swine flu in my little corner of the world.

We know a family in quarantine ( one of the kid's school friends and family) and now have heard that some more of their friends have been infected. Jess developed flu like symptoms late last night she's going to the doctor in an hour's time, I'm a bit worried coz she has had recent contact with these kids.

I hope she's okay, but the Swine Flu isn't supposed to be life-threatening for people who are otherwise healthy.
