Missy...a question by kazzzz on 6 June 2009 3:35pm

How does Rod Taylor, of Alfred Hitchcock's 'The Birds' fame rate on your hot-o-meter?
He rates about a 0.5 on mine. And I'm not talkin' about drinking and driving by the way.

Ol' Rod. His eyelashes are too long and curly for my liking. HAHAHAHAHA.

Is he still living, Kaz?

No idea Pats. All I know is that he's caught Missy's eye ;)

Maybe Missy likes Rod Taylor because he's cool and handsome,or because he was born in Sydney,Australia in 1930. (I don't know how old that makes him,but I understand Missy likes her flames pretty old and not just pretty)

Yes, Rod is still alive. He actually has a supporting role in Tarantino's new film (Inglorious Basterds) as Winston Churchill.

Rod is an extremely talented actor and one of Australia's greatest exports, in my opinion. He was very handsome in The Birds and The Time Machine. (I like his long and curly eyelashes, Pats! Hahaha!)

To answer your question Clagster, I'd probably give Rodney a 7.5 on my "hot-o-meter".

Welcome back,Missy!! kazzzz says you're not really 24 old, but I think you probably are.

If you like Rod Taylor I'd say you have good taste, both in handsome men and in good actors. Rod has made over 43 films in a career stretching back to the mid-1950's,and has also appeared in TV Westerns such as The Outlaws and Oregon Trail.

My favourite Rod Taylor film is probably Zabriskie Point (1970).In 1970 he also made The Man Who Had Power Over Women--seems he certainly has power over you,Missy!! :)

Yes, Rod is a pretty good guy. Missy, I do actually like him. I was teasing you about the eyelashes.
