Poor Tosun! by Spursfan on 28 June 2009 12:25pm

Tosun has a poorly leg/paw!! He is limping quite badly; seems like his right front paw.

We examined him; Tosun was ever so good even though it must've been painful (obviously it goes without saying that we were gentle!!). Couldn't see anything but he has been lick lick lick at that paw too.

I rang up today and made him an appointment for tomorrow morning. More bulletins will be posted after he has seen the Vet.

Poor baby!!!

Thank you all on behalf of the invalid.

He has managed a lttle light lunch and a (very short) walk or two - whether it was the rather oppressive heat this afternoon or his poorly foot, I don't know, but he certainly didn't want to go far.

Only pages 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 Johnny? What an insult! There should be a whole paper dedicated to the poor little patient.

Seriously, I hope it IS only a splinter or similar (though we couldn't see anything) and not something more sinister.

:(

Poor doggie! Here's a nice soft toy for you. You'll be better when the splinter's gone, Tosun!

BULLETIN ON THE HEALTH OF H.R.S. (His Royal Staffiness) TOSUN:

H.R.S. Tosun was examined by the Royal Vet this morning at approximately 8.35 a.m.

It is thought that he has either a sprain or has pulled a ligament.

H.R.S. Tosun has to be kept quiet and rested with only 5 minute walks at the most. (!!!)

He has to take 1 painkiller tablet 3 times a day, with food, and has already taken one, disguised in cheese.

The Royal Staff have been asked to telephone the Royal Vet if there is no improvement after one week.

End of bulletin.

Poor H.R.S. Tosun! Hope he gets better soon. I wonder how he sprained it.

If you saw the way he rushes madly into hedgerow etc when off the lead you wouldn't be wondering that, Sue! He goes about 90 mph !!

Apparently, according to the friends who look after him when we are away he was chasing a fox a few days before we got back, so it could have happened then I suppose.
