Patty, you can watch 80 Days on demand from Netflix. Same with Pole to Pole. The others you still have to wait for the DVD to arrive. Do you subscribe to Netflix? I keep them in my Instant Queue to watch whenever I feel like it.

Hope you're having a nice summer!

Netflix is a company in the US that rents videos via mail, snail mail. It is very popular. You choose how many movies you want at varying prices (1 movie at home at a time is $8.99/month, 2 movies at home at a time is $13.99/month, etc). You can keep the movie as long as you like. As soon as you mail it back, they send you the next movie in your queue. It's pretty slick. They send the DVD in a flimsy envelope that just covers the DVD. The flap of the envelope tears off and has a ready-to-seal flap for reinserting the DVD and sending it back. No postage necessary. They usually receive the DVD in a day and on the same day send you your new movie. So you if you watch your movie as soon as you get it, you only wait two days for the next one. Or, if you don't feel like watching it, there's no pressure to.

Over a year or so ago, they started including on-demand movies that you could watch from your PC or through a set top box on your TV. Not as many movies are available on-demand, but it keeps growing. With the minimum plan you get unlimited access to the on-demand movies.

It may be available in the UK and elsewhere, I'm not certain. Their web site is www.netflix.com.
