We're presently in the middle of a blizzard. Now predicted to reach 30 inches. We'll have a white Christmas. This will never melt by then.

Oh lucky thing!

Re: Christmas Day forecast by ev on 19 December 2009 2:15pm

-10°C here now, but will warm up (to about 2) for Christmas. Should be still some ice and snow lying around then.

We've had little or no snow (yet).

Pats - lots and lots of hot chocolate with marshmallows in would be just right for you! Soooo I am sending you a nice big mugful via cyberspace. Catch!! *Anne throws*

Hope you've done all your Xmas shopping!

Anyway we are supposed to have more (some?!) snow tomorrow and the next few days. As I've said before I love it to play in but it makes the roads so dangerous. The husband has to drive to Worcester on Wednesday to pick up grandson, eldest granddaughter, her partner and baby so I'd like the roads to be safe for then please!!

:)

Thanks Anne. I caught it. I adore Hot choccie and marshmallows so it hits the spot! Yum.

The snow is coming down constantly and quickly. Hasn't let up a it. Larry's out with the snow blower and it's a good 16 inches already. It's accumulating faster than he can blow it away. We walked to my Mom's early this morning and helped her clear spaces for Willy to do his "business". Being a low rider it's ahrd for him to forgee a place on his own. Her driveway was blown clear too but it hardly looks like it's been touched already. Will have to work on this storm several times to keep things open. We've already used two cans of gasoline for our driveway.

Earlier this morning, I looked out the window only to see a wildlife adventure movie. Three deer stood on my front lawn and it was peaceful and quiet and the snow was falling hard. It was like watching a TV nature special. They pranced off across the lawn and street to neighbors' and stopped there only to return and run back to our woods behind the house. They were so majestic. I felt so sorry for them though. It's brutal out there today.

Patty, your typing may be rubbish but you paint a fine picture with your words. :)
I'm so glad that I'm not a 'global warming' believer...."We've already used two cans of gasoline for our driveway."
Over here, we use a shovel. Americans. :)

You would have a coronary if you tried to shovel our driveway. It's long and wide.

And I'll be the first to admit to my poor typing. I am beginning to think I have a reverse problem when I type certain words. EVERY time, letters are reversed, the same darn letters. I usually go back and edit them, but it gets tiring after a while and I let them go. My emails are absolutely terrible too. But those I do my best to correct , cut and paste, to be sure it's readable.

I was only teasing Patty, as hopefully you realised. Or should I say raleised ? :)
Patty, I do enjoy your descriptive writing at times. You have made posts about Austria and Germany etc, that made me feel like I was there.

We have snow in Finchley. I was up in town today and there was no snow at all. Back home tonight and it was snowing again. My road has been very icy.
