The Chatter Box : Blathering On
Life in an anarchist state by mrsteabag on 8 February 2010 2:10am
Someday, historians will look back on 1999-2010 and see Illinois as a functioning anarchist state:
1. The Blagojevich trial for selling Pres. Obama's senate seat begins in June.
2. George Ryan, who was governor before Mr. B., has another year or so to go on his jail term for racketeering and some other unpleasantries.
3. a.We had our gubernatorial primaries this week. Democrats were split down the middle, and the challenger Dan Hynes conceded to incumbant Pat Quinn. Quinn was fired from his position as finance director of the city of Chicago for ineptitude 20-odd years ago and still can't handle a budget.
b. The lieutentant governor candidate owes his wife $50K in back child support as well as having assaulted her in a steroid-induced rage and being charged with assault on an ex-girlfriend who is now being represented by Gloria Allred.
4. The Republicans split the vote three ways.
5. A city official in one of the suburbs by O'Hare was forced to resign his post this week due to a scandal involving himself, two hookers, an encounter with them in his children's playroom, and his wife walking in on the whole deal and coldcocking him with a Hannah Montana toy guitar.

Guys, when Mr. Teabag retires, where should we move?

Well, don't move to the UK, because our goverment isn't much better. There's been a scandal regarding their expenses and the fact that a lot of people are turning toward the BNP party. That's worrying as they are reckoned to be the equivilant of the Nazi party. No thanks.

The lieutenant governor candidate in question stepped aside yesterday.
