The Great Circular Indian Railway Challenge

Hello everyone,
We're running a small charity event on Indian railways next year which is at least partly inspired by Michael, and for that matter David Niven.
We'll be visiting Tipong at the east of the network, which avid fans will remember, as well as the furthest points north, south and west of the network, and the highest and most coastal points, all in a frantic 2 weeks. We'll be raising money for the worthy charity Railway Children.
If you're bonkers enough to join in (most of us are over 40 and have done India more than a few times) you would be most welcome. If you'd like to send us your best wishes on the blog we'd all appreciate it.
We'll be putting up accounts on the blog during the trip courtesy of the global digital cellular world we live in, so you can follow us round if you dont fancy 2 solid weeks of travelling on Indian trains.
Many thanks
Mark Lester

Welcome anyway Mark. |

There's a face book group of Mark Lesters, there's about a 100 of us so far.
Anyway, thanks for your interest, I can see a few of you have looked at the blog, I'll post a reminder in here when we are actually on the trip so you can watch if it takes your fancy.
