What was that all about: are you losing your sense of discretion as to fit subject matters?

It was an article from The Scotsman newspaper bIG. I thought the subject was too controversial for here.

Why, what was it then? If it was in a newspaper surely it's ok to talk about?

Yeah, actually,I always read the Scotsman over my eggs and porridge first thing in the morning.

It was probably the article about the Queen renting out Balmoral (when She's not in residence) to poor Muslim immigrants with no visas.

I have just enjoyed a rather large measure of Laphroaig ( A Scotch malt whisky) so thought I would drop in here and make some drunken comments!? It's quite amazing how many mistakes I made in this post before I got it right!

There should be some kind of sobriety test here before people are allowed to post. ;)

I can't believe it! Ken!!!!

*faints too*

The husband has a small collection of malts - we only drink occasionally and then it's Baileys so they are a few years old I guess.

Glenmorangie; Glencoyne; Bowmore Islay; Glenfiddich and Knowcandoo - all bottled when 12 years old.

When we have parties, or what have you, if one of our friends asks for whisky - but then says 'with (a mixer)', Zak always gives them Bells, or another blend.

He reckons a good malt is too good a flavour to water down with something else!!

Do you Scotsmen agree?

:)

Islay malts are very much an acquired taste due to their peatiness. I think Bowmore tastes like TCP !

If Zak wants to indulge himself, tell him to try a Macallan 25 year old.
