My tale of AWOLness by mp_addict19 on 7 February 2011 11:38pm

I have been to the most isolated place on earth. When I first arrived, there wasn't a single soul in site . . . because it's isolated. Or was it? Anyway, I was making my way through thickets and glades, when suddenly I was caught in a booby trap. I flung into the air and was dangling by my ankle. Whooping sounds filled the air as about 15 painted warriors came out of the bushes. They took me down and held me hostage for 3 hours until they noticed that I was pale skinned and blue eyed, so was their diety that they worshipped. I was treated like a goddess for a few months when someone special showed up: you know who. *pause* You do know, right? *pause* You sure? *cough*Michael*cough* So he happened to come by, doing this documentary. We exchanged greetings and friendly comments. That night I told him my tale so far. He wondered why it took them so long for them to see that I "was" a reincarnation of their goddess. I explained to him that they had slightly poor eyesight and it takes a few hours for it to pass before everything can clear up again. Suddenly one of the people who understood what I said and who became a very dear friend of mine, told me of an scheme that they were going to eat me because they were going to set the goddess' soul free by eating me. We (Michael, the crew and I)made our way to a chopper undetected and safely made our way to the nearest town or city.

Finally I made it back to the snowy area I call North Dakota and made it safely back to my dorm and thought about going back to this site. And that's my tale.

I know it's completely made up, but *shrugs*

As usual, I was looking for a topic to do an update and this one seemed suitable but the story is so good I couldn't spoil it.
