The Chatter Box : Blathering On
Colbert & Stewart by sighthound on 9 September 2011 11:59pm
I just now posted something on another thread about Stephen Colbert and it occurred to me that people outside of the U.S. may not know who he is.

We are in the unfortunate situation of having the best political commentary being done in this country being done by two comics instead of "respected political analysts" but we are in the very fortunate situation of having this commentary being done by Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart.

You can access their daily (Monday through Thursday) shows at:

Geraldine, I said the exact same thing to my Journalism professsor two years ago. My father used to say, It takes a very smart man to act the clown, and these two clowns are smart! My son who is 13 on Oct 1st, loves them and so do I. I remember when Jon Stewart took over the Daily Show and I thought oh it's not going to be as good any more....boy was I wrong!!!!! Have you read any of his books?
