Travels With Michael Palin Exhibition by stevenw on 29 November 2012 12:36pm

I recently stumbled across the news of an exhibition of photos from Michael's travels. The photographer is Basil Pao who has captured Palin's travels from '88. The event is to celebrate the end of his tenure as president of the RGS. Personally I can't wait until I have the free time to go, it starts early next month, I'll post a link with details. Hope to see you there

Oh I like the Irish journalist, David Kileen's exhibition. Reminds me of the past and present war pictures I think Spuresfan2 posted a while back. I love that stuff.

Just found this site: http://www.davidkilleen.com/to-you-i-follow/

I don't know if certain parts that changed dramatically since 1935 were bombed in WW2 or not, but areas like The Frontier in the Street of Konstanz (Swiss - German Border), Saturday, September, 4th, 2010 looked far nicer in 1935.

Here's the link to the before and after war photo collection I posted earlier that you may be referring to, Loretto.

As described in a story from the Daily Mail, Dutch historian Jo Teeuwisse discovered 300 negatives in a flea market and began to research the sites of the photos.

Sorry Pete, yes I remember now and I really did like those images. 'Like' as in they were very ghostly in ways.
