Mrs. Brown's Boys by Lounge Trekker on 6 February 2013 5:25am

So we're watching a clip of Mrs. Brown's Boys and is it ever funny. Is this seen on most British TV's?

The Canadian 'morals' the guys at the controls are trying to jam down our throats have left us starved of this level of comedy. Gave us a good laugh. Cablvision is going out of style.

Yes, we have this brilliant comedy on our screens here, in fact the third series has just finished. There have been many live tours too - the 2013 tour is 'For the Love of Mrs Brown'.

Many of the cast are actually related to Brendan O'Carroll (Mrs Brown) in real life, including Mrs Brown's daughter Cathy, who is Brendan's wife, and the next door neighbour Winnie who is his sister.

One of the funniest things for me is that when they make a mistake instead of retaping it, they make a thing of it.

We saw some of a live episode last night. Brendan O'Carrol carries the show, everyone else follows his lead.

It is always 'live', Pete - or appears to be!

When I say live tours, I mean not for the tv series.

Strange what people find pleasing.. I have a good sense of humour as I am sure we all do, but Mrs Browns Boys? I find it quite the opposite to funny, I will not drag it through the dirt by telling you my thoughts on the programme, suffice to say I do not like it. Love you all though....
