Toronto, Canada

I'm getting into the travelling bug, yet again, and my next adventure will be going to Toronto this October, 2013. I'm treating this as an adventure, holiday of a lifetime - I'm going on my own (2nd trip to Canada on my own, an achievement) I'm going for a convention but I'm staying a little longer to see Toronto and hopefully see most of the attractions. Anyone have any tips on getting around, any help would be appreciated. Thank you |

I have only been to Western Canada so do not know Toronto so I am sorry that I cannot help you here. Let's hope someone else can give you some tips.
Have a great time there, Amy! |

We touched down in Toronto on the way home from Vancouver many years ago. All I can remember is the terminal building was quite nice and the fact that I bought a Toronto Blue Jays T-shirt while there. Lounge Trekker may be able to advise more. |

I recently saw an episode of one of Tony Bourdain's "Layover" shows that was about Toronto which totally changed my idea of the city where my Grandmother was born. He found great stuff there. http://www.travelchannel.com/tv-shows/the-layover/episodes/toronto
Enjoy! |

Sorry I can be no help, Amy. I live over 4500 kilometres (2800 miles) from Toronto. I have been there a few times. It is a city over 2 million. The subway (tube, metro, underground) is the easiest way to get around.
