The Chatter Box : Blathering On
Michael Palin & Monty Python Auction by DailyLlama on 14 June 2014 6:01pm
This should hopefully be of interest to all fans and collectors of Michael Palin memorabilia… and I profusely apologize if this is unwelcome forum filler.

I'm auctioning off a large collection of Monty Python and Michael Palin collectibles. I've spent over 30 years collecting and chronicling Monty Python and the solo efforts of all of the members.

For a number of years, I had the very good fortune to collaborate with the Pythons on their website as well as a few of their projects... such as helping Eric Idle blog his exploits during his Greedy Bastard Tour, promoting Spamalot, doing prize give-aways etc.

The collection now spans over 1,500 items... books, videos & DVDs, records & singles, posters, lobby cards, rare photos & press kits, video games, board games, stuffed toys, gag gifts, action figures, collectible trading cards, t-shirts, ties, watches, hats, costumes mugs, magnets, postcards, stamps, buttons, keychains, etc. etc.

It's time for me to clear some space, and give other Python & Palin fans a chance to own a piece of comedy (and travel!?) history.

I did a search for a book I might be interested in and the only one that came up was $1,000! Way out of my price range. The book I am interested in is available on Amazon for less than £9 including postage.

Hi Ken. Ouch! Yes, which book is it? Is it the Cocktail People book? The company that is selling the items for me has control over the prices, and they swear it is worth that much. Or is it a different one? Let me know and I'll make some inquiries! You can also now download the entire list of available items off the www.dailyllama.com website and contact them directly. Wink wink, nudge, nudge!
